Not-for-profit organization

Carl Duisberg Centren is a not-for-profit organization. Our work is directed at serving the public good, specifically, promoting international understanding. Achieving a profit is not our primary corporate purpose, but is necessary in order to continue the sustainable development and economic stability of the organization. We do not receive any state funding. All profits generated are reinvested in the company and are not distributed. The shareholder of Carl Duisberg Centren is the non-profit foundation "Carl-Duisberg-Stiftung für internationale Bildung und Zusammenarbeit."

Locations

Carl Duisberg Centren has its headquarters in Cologne and five other locations in Germany: Berlin, Marburg, Munich, Saarbrücken, Radolfzell on Lake Constance. We have an extensive international network to serve our customers worldwide, including representative offices in China, Iran and Malaysia.

A history of quality

For over sixty years, Carl Duisberg Centren has strived for excellence in further education and training. The company was one of the first service providers in the area of training and education to introduce a quality management system subject to review by an independent institution. Carl Duisberg Centren is certified according to ISO 9001 standards for Language Courses, Language Travel, and International School Programs.

Company name

Our company name stems from the "Carl Duisberg Gesellschaft" (CDG) which was founded by German federal and regional authorities in 1949. We see ourselves as a company that follows in the tradition of CDG's commitment to the international qualification of young leaders and executive managers.
