Eerde is the only international school in the Netherlands to offer day school, flexible boarding and full boarding facilities. Located on a tranquil country estate only 2 hours from central Amsterdam, Eerde offers a safe and healthy environment for your child to focus on study, outdoor activities and having fun with schoolfriends.

Eerde Campus

Our school is located on a secluded country estate in beautiful woodland scenery. The moated castle dates from 1715  and has been in use as an international school since 1934.

We design our educational programmes and extra-curricular activities to help students develop into critical and creative thinkers capable of solving complex problems. With our small class sizes and support from our experienced staff, we focus intensively on the development of each child to help them reach their full potential.

Reach your full potential at Eerde

At Eerde we take our responsibility for each student’s learning experience very seriously. Which is why we developed Learning Enrichment to add value to the learning of each and every student. By this we mean not only academic achievement but also the social skills young people need in their development.

Learning Enrichment covers everything from extra tuition in intensive maths or intensive English through to support for special educational needs and facilitating exceptionally gifted students. So that each student can reach their full potential.

Primary

Get the best of two international educational systems

International schools all over the world generally teach either the International Primary Years Curriculum (IPC) or Cambridge Primary.  At Eerde we teach both.

Through Cambridge we offer primary students a solid foundation in Maths and English. Through IPC we encourage children to look constantly for connections between a wide range of subjects. By combining these renowned educational systems, we stimulate children to love learning from an early age and develop an enquiring mindset that will last a lifetime.

Secondary

Middle School - IMYC: aged 11-14

The International Middle Years Curriculum (IMYC) and Cambridge lower secondary are used in high schools, independent and international schools all over the world. At Eerde International Boarding School we have implemented both curriculums to offer the best of both educational systems.
