What is TCJ?

Since its establishment in 1988, students from more than 70 countries have studied at TCJ, realizing their dreams and goals for higher education and employment. TCJ is also one of the largest Japanese language schools in Japan for the training of Japanese language teachers, and is highly recognized both in Japan and abroad for its high level of Japanese language education.
The school is a multinational institution with students mainly from Asia, but also from Europe, the Middle East, North America, Central and South America, and Oceania. International culture exchange is possible on a daily basis in TCJ. The school provides opportunities for international students to learn high level Japanese communication and social skills to realize their future goals in Japan, and achieves high results in higher education and employment through careful career guidance. We also offer Japanese language lessons for foreigners who are living in Japan and online Japanese language education for overseas.

TCJ's school building is located at Shinanomachi Station, only 5 minutes by train from Shinjuku Station, the terminal station in Tokyo. The school building is located right next to the station and overlooks the beautiful Jingu Gaien Garden, where you can enjoy the changes of scenery of four seasons. 1. Please fill out and submit the INQUIRY FORM.
2. Please take the online level check test in advance.
3. You will have a face-to-face or online interview with a TCJ staff member. Please be as specific as possible about your purpose for studying Japanese and your target Japanese level. Through the level check and interview, we will confirm your Japanese level and suggest the most suitable class for you.
4. Decide how you will pay your tuition fees.
5. After confirming the initial payment, the class will start!

Our main materials are digital, so there is no need to carry them around. Students can study on tablets or PCs.
